I was born and raised in a Catholic family in New Jersey but it was during my college years that I had a personal encounter with the person and love of Jesus while spending a summer in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I also met my husband, Randy, at that time and subsequently made the best two commitments I ever made; I began a friendship with God that summer and a friendship with my future husband as well. We were married in 1969 and have five adult children and two grandsons (at the moment). I have both a B.A. in Psychology and an Master of Arts in Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville where I taught courses on Human and Spiritual Integration as well as Marriage and Family as an adjunct professor. My work as a clinical counselor allows me to bring an integrative perspective on the human and spiritual dynamics of life in Christ. |
